There's a lot to like about Powder Springs!
I hope you will agree with me that Powder Springs is a great place to live, work and raise a family and that you will support my candidacy for Ward 1 City Council with your vote in the November 3, 2009 election.
About the Election
I am running for the Ward 1 seat of the Powder Springs City Council in the election to be held November 3, 2009. The Ward 1 seat includes the western area of the City of Powder Springs including Lost Mountain Estates, Peach Plantation, Country Walk, Country Cove and Hopeland Park subdivisions on Shipp Road as well as Paddocks West subdivision on Florence Road, Warren FarmSilver Springs Village near the Post Office, Sweetwater Landing, Springbrooke Estates, Woodbridge and Steeplechase subdivisions on Brownsville Road and neighborhoods in the Butner Street area and Pineview Drive/North Avenue/Marietta Street area.
These areas of the City have benefited from superior representation in the past and I pledge to continue that representation on City Council into the future. It is important that the views of all citizens of Powder Springs be considered in making decisions about the city's future. I believe that citizen input to government decision-making yields a stronger, cohesive community and encourages discussion of issues.
